Just Code Examples

I like and use the XMPP Framework but this book was not worth it. To get started with the XMPP Framework you can use the wiki: [...] This book adds little more explanation than what can be found in the wiki / source code and provides a huge amount of code examples that are not useful. Also the formatting in the book is really bad. I was looking for information on the more advanced topics but had to search for answers in the source code of the framework.

The XMPPFrameWork is outstanding!

Robbie Hanson, the author of the XMPP FrameWork has done an amazing job on his design. We have been using this framework for our SilentCircle IOS product for over a year and has been exceptionally reliable and easy to work with.. I highly recommend this and the book describing its usage.

too much code in book but useful

after reading it I got a clear view of this framework's structure and mechanism which of course did me a big favor on my current project. the only drawback is that too much code are directly written on this book.
