almost useless book

This book is filled with way too much "fluff" and does not include information needed to answer some of the questions at the end of the chapter or online at evolve.. Just like another reviewer said there are contradictions. There are typos. This book really does not prepare you for NCLEX style questions. They do not provide enough information on what a nurse should know and how to care for the patients. The review questions on evolve reference wrong pages, contain typos, omit important words so that the question makes sense, will occasionally mark correct answers wrong, and the majority of the questions, including the ones in the book, are memory based questions which do not help much for class exams, HESI, or NCLEX. If your school is using this book and you have no choice be prepared for a huge headache and get yourself a good NCLEX book

Didn't find this book helpful at all. The pages are filled with more "filler" than actually information. Also, they didn't do a very good job of editing the info. There are lots of contradictions within the same chapters. They also don't elaborate or go into detail on things that are important to know. Not happy, especially for the high price of this book.

This story is so hot that you'll be panting along as the very innocent and yet very naughty, 18-year old Amabelle worriedly decides to ask her hot new stepfather, appropriately named Randy, all about sex. He is more than happy to inspect her thoroughly to ensure that she is still a virgin. Then he takes her down an extremely pleasurable journey of debauchery as they move from backdoor pleasures to the grand finale. Hardcore naughty read

So, the four stars is because it really delivers in the steamy hardcore genre. Don't expect a lot of story here, it is about the hot and heavy action. I ma not a huge fan of the Step trend, but thought I would give this a go. It sure isn't a romance! It is sex-fest with cheating. If you are looking for a quick read with all the elements to get you off on a forbidden fantasy, this is the book for you. It had a nice flow and few grammar mistakes. Typically these reads are rife with errors. This one did a decent job of entertaining while raising the temperature.

This is an arousing story if you're into the step genre.

It's a hot, quick read that flowed well through my imagination. Connie's vivid descriptions made me feel as if I was in each room with the characters; watching the story unfold.

This is the second of Connie's books that I have read and I have several others on deck. I'm even more excited to get to them after having read this one.

How good is your Spanish ?

Be careful when reading other reviews. When you see that this book is recommended for people who have already taken "a couple of years of Spanish", they must mean four years in high school PLUS a couple of years in college.
The book looks good and the CD is handy, but if your Spanish isn't already pretty good, this book isn't for you. I can carry very basic conversation in Spanish (in the present tense only) and couldn't even understand the first exercise on the CD.
So just beware that if you only had two years of Spanish in HIGH SCHOOL, this book isn't for you. I must sell mine.

Excellent book for a serious student of Spanish

My Spanish tutor here in Oaxaca recommended this book to me. I'm moderately proficient in Spanish, but mostly from having had the opportunity (and need) to speak it. On her recommendation, I started at the beginning, and have been working my way through the explanations and exercizes.

I've found the presentation of grammatical points clear and easily understandable, with a minimum of grammatical jargon and good number of examples.

The exercizes are certainly useful, since I've found that even if I understand a grammatical usage clearly, I need to practice it extensively if I'm going to use it when I'm actually talking with people in Spanish.

My tutor pointed out that the exercizes could be better, especially for more advanced students, if they mixed different usages in the same exercize, rather than simply repeating the same type of sentence again and again. This would make the student think a bit more, and force him or her to recall previously learned forms.

After working my way through the book, I agree with that criticism.

Otherwise, I can warmly recommend this book to anyone who wants to improve his or her undertanding of and use of Spanish.

Very basic information provided. Gives a general overview about market strategies on the corporate level, business level, and product level that are out there. Not much practical advise.

Example: Pages 114/115 Adopter Categories

"Early adopters differ from later adopters. Using time of adoption as a basis for classifying individuals, five major groups can be distinguished: innovators, early adopters, early majority, late majority, and laggards...Because each category comprises individuals who have similar characteristics and because individuals differ substantially across categories, these adopter groups can be considered market segments. Thus, one would use a different set of strategies to market a new product to the early adopter group than to market it to the late majority group."
